You’ll hone your skills by participating in a year-long clinical teaching experience intended to help you enter the field feeling completely prepared to lead a classroom of your own. The curriculum also allows you to focus on specific teaching strategies for your content area: math, physics, chemistry, biology, earth science, general science, Spanish, mandarin, American Sign Language, English, history, political science or American government, middle school social studies, or economics. After graduating, you’ll have earned your master’s degree in education and completed the qualification requirements for secondary teaching certification (grades 6-12).
