The Network Management certificate is designed to provide students with the skills necessary to obtain an entry-level position in the growing specialty of network planning, installation, security and administration. The certificate may be repeated by completing six to nine credit hours in a different concentration. Courses are preparatory for industry certification exams as listed. Upon successful completion of the Network Management program, the graduate will be able to: Demonstrate a basic understanding of computer hardware and software. Demonstrate basic level of competency in programming and logic skills. Utilize web technologies. Present conclusions effectively, orally and in writing. Administer and maintain a computer network. Work effectively in teams. Apply the skills that are the focus of this program to business scenarios.
