Leech Lake Tribal College - Cass Lake, MN

  • AAS

This degree provides a more limited study of the history, culture, and language of the Anishinaabeg and of the liberal arts and sciences than is possible through the Associate in Arts degree. In exchange, the Associate in Applied Science degree provides opportunities for a student to begin a more in-depth study in one subject area. Students who elect this option are not primarily interested in transferring to a four-year degree program but instead, wish to enter the job market upon completion of an A.A.S. degree and Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) certification.
